BLINDS AND CURTAINS
Close the blinds and curtains on hot and cold days. Covering your windows is one of the best ways to reduce heating and cooling bills throughout the year. In Winter, always close the blinds and/or curtains on cold nights to keep in the heat. If your windows don’t have any curtains, consider hanging blankets or other fabric on them to retain the heat and create a buffer of air between you and the window.
On hot days the curtains will provide a shady respite from the sun and make it darker and cooler inside.
